Tom Daughhetee | Senior Managing Editor
Before joining The Froebe Group, Tom Daughhetee spent more than a decade within the corporate finance department of Chicago-based insurer CNA Financial Corporation, where he focused on government relations and the financial regulatory implications of intercompany transactions. Mr. Daughhetee is especially proud of his multi-year effort working with CNA’s leadership team to gain regulatory approval for the transformation of the company into a purely commercial insurer through the shedding of its life & health and personal lines of business.
Mr. Daughhetee attended Loyola University Chicago, earning a B.A. in Political Science, with Minors in Philosophy and Communication, also attending Loyola’s John Felice Rome Center, in Rome, Italy.
Kathy Langone | Senior Managing Editor
Before joining The Froebe Group, Kathy Langone spent over a decade as an editor at Aspen Publishers in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she worked closely with authors on first editions and revisions of legal education casebooks, study aids, and Teacher’s Manuals. Prior to Aspen, Ms. Langone worked in New York City as an information technology assistant at the law office of Paul, Hastings, Janofksy, and Walker where she wrote, edited, and designed training documentation for attorneys, and in Boston as an editorial associate at Houghton Mifflin where she focused primarily on ancillary educational publications for math textbooks. Ms. Langone now resides in sunny Irvine, California with her husband, three sons, and a hungry chocolate Lab named Natalie.
Ms. Langone received a B.A. in Literature and Writing from the University of California, San Diego.
Corinne Pulicay | Managing Editor
After a half-decade in the apparel industry as an in-house Production Artist for a major retail supplier, Corinne Pulicay began her career in Rights Clearance/Permissions in 2013 at The Bill Smith Group (now QBS Learning). This was followed by a tenure at PARS International before eventually joining The Froebe Group in 2019. She holds a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Outside of permissions work, Corinne is a photographer and a rabid DIY-enthusiast with at least one sewing or knitting project under construction at all times. She currently lives in a plant-filled apartment in the Bronx with her husband and their two cats.
Sunil Kumar | Director of Digital & Marketing Services
Sunil Kumar has worked for over 25 years conceiving, building, and maintaining websites in various industries. After finishing culinary school, he took part in the dot-com boom by helping StarChefs.com grow into one of the first successful online magazines for food industry insiders. Moving on to the publishing industry, Mr. Kumar joined The Book Report Network and built their AuthorsOnTheWeb.com site into one of the industry’s most prominent web development and online marketing services, creating sites for notable authors such as Ray Bradbury, Nelson DeMille, Neil Gaiman, and Barbara Kingsolver.
Mr. Kumar holds a B.A. from Syracuse University.
Summer Wrobel | Associate Editor
Summer Wrobel is a writer and editor from Brooklyn. She joined The Froebe Group after receiving an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, and a B.A. from Connecticut College.
She has provided editorial support to magazines such as Ecotone, Conjunctions, and the Boiler, and has worked in publicity for both emerging and established authors. She now lives (back) in Brooklyn, where she co-hosts The Cusp Reading Series.
Eric Song | Associate Editor
Prior to working at The Froebe Group, Mr. Song worked in international development and education. First as an education and community development volunteer with the US Peace Corps in Mongolia, and later in Kazakhstan where he held a myriad of roles ranging from Deputy Director overseeing marketing copywriting for De Montfort University, proofreading UN ESG reports for third-party clients on behalf of PWC in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, to self-financing, writing, and directing a stage drama at an independent theater.
Mr. Song holds a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University, and an M.A. with distinction in International Affairs from the University of Tartu in Estonia; the University of Glasgow in the UK, and KIMEP University in Kazakhstan. Eric lives in New Jersey with his wife Hera and their two cats. When he's not tending to the cats or going for a run, he loves movies and wouldn't mind getting behind a camera or returning to the stage to write or direct sometime in the future.
Irene Elias | Associate Editor
Irene Elias joined The Froebe Group after obtaining a Ph.D. in Ancient Greek and Roman History from the University of Pennsylvania in 2024, during which time she did freelance work for publishing departments at several museums in Philadelphia. A born and raised New Yorker, she is glad to be back in the city and continuing to work with academics on their manuscripts. She spends her free time baking and swing dancing.
Irene also holds a B.A. with High Honors in Classical Studies and minors in Chemistry and Greek from Swarthmore College.
Patrick Walsh | Associate Editor
Raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Patrick attended Penn State University, where he worked on Professor Fariborz Ghadar's book, The Danger of Devaluing Immigrants, and graduated with an M.A. in English and B.A. in English and History. Mr. Walsh joined TFG as an Editorial Assistant in 2023 and now runs the Alt Text, Quality Assurance, and Editorial Assistant programs.
Outside of work, Patrick is an improviser, actor, writer, and member of the sketch comedy group Alternative Medicine. He is also good at tennis.
Amulya Tadimety | Associate Editor
Amulya Tadimety is an M.A. candidate in Interdisciplinary Humanities at New York University, where she studies literature and digital humanities. She has worked in editorial capacities for academic publishers and in advertising. After working as an Editorial Assistant for The Froebe Group in 2022, she spent two years as a Content Editor at ProQuest specializing in ebook metadata. She returned to TFG in 2025 as an Associate Editor with a focus on copyediting.
Amulya holds a B.A. in History and Creative Writing from Columbia University. In her spare time, she writes poetry and reads as much new fiction as she can.
Aiden Blasi | Production Editor
Aiden Blasi joined The Froebe Group in 2022 after graduating from the University of Vermont the previous year. In past lives, he has also been a counselor at an inpatient psychiatric facility, a horticulturist’s assistant, and a radio DJ. Outside of the office, you may find him watching 80s and 90s Hong Kong action movies, attempting to befriend local stray cats, or, very occasionally, writing fiction.
Ameer Malik | Production Editor
Ameer Malik is a writer based in New York. Before joining The Froebe Group, he lent his editing skills to a wide variety of individuals and companies. He also worked on personal creative projects and still continues to do so. Originally from New Jersey, Ameer studied creative writing at Brown University, where he was awarded a Michael Harper Premium for his honors thesis, and Columbia University, where he earned his MFA and was awarded a Felipe De Alba Fellowship in recognition of his work in fiction.
He enjoys writing fiction, poetry, and essays. When he's not reading, writing, or editing, he enjoys spending time with loved ones, visiting museums, unwinding in board game cafes and arcades, and going to the movies. He keeps a weekly blog about film.
Haley Jameson | Editorial Assistant
Haley Jameson (she/her) moved from South Carolina to New York in 2023 to pursue an MFA in creative writing at the City College of New York. She joined TFG as an Editorial Assistant in 2024 after interning at Shoreline Press, Quebec. She has a BA (Honours) in English literature from Bishop's University.
Ashley Whitley | Editorial Assistant
Ashley Whitley joined The Froebe Group as an editorial assistant in July 2025. She is a graduate of Cornell University with a B.A. in English and Government. She enjoys supporting the editorial process.
She is also a writer for various digital publications and an editor for The Lovepost. In her free time, she enjoys trips to the NYPL and coffee-shop hopping in the city.
Rose Butler-Shriner | Editorial Assistant
Rose Butler-Shriner joined The Froebe Group in August of 2025. Aside from her editorial work, she also leads marketing and sales efforts. Rose previously interned for Storm Literary Agency and worked for the Red Cedar Review. She also worked as an editor and writer
for The Current, Michigan State University’s arts and culture magazine, and as a bookseller at Barnes & Noble.
Rose is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A. in English and a concentration in creative writing, and also completed NYU’s Summer Publishing Institute in 2024. In her free time, she’s either writing, swimming, or trying new coffee spots.
Jessica Barmack | Senior Managing Editor
Jessica Barmack owes the bounty of her career to a few key people who saw certain qualities in her and were brave enough to give her a chance to demonstrate them. One of these people was the founding publisher of legal education at Little, Brown, Rick Heuser. Another was Carol McGeehan, who brought Jess from Little, Brown to Aspen Publishers. Jess then took a brief early retirement (to write a novel; don’t ask) before coming back into the fold of legal education publishing at TFG—where, refreshed and a little older, she challenged herself to become the best editor she could be.
Jess holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a publishing certificate from Radcliffe.
Troy Froebe | CEO
Over the course of 25 years, Troy Froebe has established himself as an industry leader in overseeing and delivering completed projects for demanding clients in academic and trade publishing. Mr. Froebe began his career in New York by working in the editorial departments for AMS Press and Aspen Publishers. He then started The Froebe Group and began enlisting like-minded professionals to provide exceptional publishing services. Mr. Froebe is also a partner in TJKJ Farms.
Raised in Illinois, Mr. Froebe received a B.A. with Distinction and High Honors from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
