Troy Froebe | CEO

Over the course of 25 years, Troy Froebe has established himself as an industry leader in overseeing and delivering completed projects for demanding clients in academic and trade publishing. Mr. Froebe began his career in New York by working in the editorial departments for AMS Press and Aspen Publishers. He then started The Froebe Group and began enlisting like-minded professionals to provide exceptional publishing services. Mr. Froebe is also a partner in TJKJ Farms.

Raised in Illinois, Mr. Froebe received a B.A. with Distinction and High Honors from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Tom Daughhetee | Senior Managing Editor

Before joining The Froebe Group, Tom Daughhetee spent more than a decade within the corporate finance department of Chicago-based insurer CNA Financial Corporation, where he focused on government relations and the financial regulatory implications of intercompany transactions. Mr. Daughhetee is especially proud of his multi-year effort working with CNA’s leadership team to gain regulatory approval for the transformation of the company into a purely commercial insurer through the shedding of its life & health and personal lines books of business. In 2013, Mr. Daughhetee moved to New York to coordinate The Froebe Group’s expansion program. Though relishing the new environment, he admits to missing his garden and the space to re-finish furniture.

Mr. Daughhetee attended Loyola University Chicago, earning a B.A. in Political Science, with Minors in Philosophy and Communication, also attending Loyola’s John Felice Rome Center, in Rome, Italy.

Kathy Langone | Senior Managing Editor

Before joining The Froebe Group, Kathy Langone spent over a decade as an editor at Aspen Publishers in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she worked closely with authors on first editions and revisions of legal education casebooks, study aids, and Teacher’s Manuals. Prior to Aspen, Ms. Langone worked in New York City as an information technology assistant at the law office of Paul, Hastings, Janofksy, and Walker where she wrote, edited, and designed training documentation for attorneys, and in Boston as an editorial associate at Houghton Mifflin where she focused primarily on ancillary educational publications for math textbooks. Ms. Langone now resides in sunny Irvine, California with her husband, three sons, and a hungry chocolate Lab named Natalie.

Ms. Langone received a B.A. in Literature and Writing from the University of California, San Diego.

Corinne Pulicay | Managing Editor

After a half-decade in the apparel industry as an in-house Production Artist for a major retail supplier, Corinne Pulicay began her career in Rights Clearance/Permissions in 2013 at The Bill Smith Group (now QBS Learning). This was followed by a tenure at PARS International before eventually joining The Froebe Group in 2019. Initially starting as a freelancer, Corinne joined the full time team in 2021.

Outside of permissions work, Corinne is a photographer and a rabid DIY-enthusiast with at least one sewing or knitting project under construction at all times. She currently lives in a plant-filled apartment in the Bronx with her husband and their two cats.

Sunil Kumar | Director of Digital and Marketing Services

Sunil Kumar has worked for over 25 years conceiving, building, and maintaining websites in various industries. After finishing culinary school, he took part in the dot-com boom by helping StarChefs.com grow into one of the first successful online magazines for food industry insiders. Moving on to the publishing industry, Mr. Kumar joined The Book Report Network and built their AuthorsOnTheWeb.com site into one of the industry’s most prominent web development and online marketing services, creating sites for notable authors such as Ray Bradbury, Nelson DeMille, Neil Gaiman, and Barbara Kingsolver.

Mr. Kumar holds a B.A. from Syracuse University.

Enid L. Zafran | Director of Indexing Services

Enid graduated from Mount Holyoke College and has a J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law, a Master of Library Science from the University of Kentucky, and an LL.M. in Labor Law from Georgetown Law Center. She worked in legal publishing for over twenty-five years, starting at Banks-Baldwin Law Publishing Co. in Cleveland, Ohio, where she held the positions of Vice President/Editorial and Vice President/New Product Development. Subsequently, she worked at Prentice Hall Information Service as Editorial Director of Non-Tax Services, and from January 1990 to January 2002, she was the Director of Indexing Services at The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. (BNA), Washington, DC.
